Day 1
When i first heard about the idea of having a blog i thought it was sort of "toolish," but then i realized with my ablility to say whats on my mind and always have an argument or opininon on everything, i thought it would be a good idea.
With the winter season here school gets long and boring, the days become shorter, and the weather is nothin special. One positive is the basketball season, watching it on tv becomes a usuall for every night and nothin beats friday night high school games. Try-outs day 1 were today and surprisingly they weren't very tiring at all, hopefully they will stay that way! Many people say we don't have what it takes too make it to state again but with our individual talents we have i beg to differ.
Onto the latest news with the vikings.. thank god childress is gone, we needed that! One thing that bugs me is all the sports fans out there that are bandwagon/fair weather fans season after season. Clearly visible here in Minnesota with the Vikings.. Last year and before the season this year Favre was our savior and everyone loved him like he was minnesota football's version of Joe Mauer, but when he struggles a little everyone hates on him and critizes every play (personally don't think it's his fault, some throws he's made have been dumb but our O Line has been terrible not giving him any time to work with, mainly Loadholt, Shoutout to Freddy!) I've never been a Brett Favre fan and never will be, but i do have respect for the man. In my opinion besides AP and Harvin, he's the only player out there that gives it his all every single play. With the new coach takin over i'm hopin for a great end to the season. For all the minnesota football fans out there who say the seasons over and we need to build for next year i disagree. Crazier things have happened in sports than what the vikings are up against currently. The chances are slim but with some of the playmakers we posess anything can happen.
That's all i have too say for today now its onto lifetime hottub, nothin better!
